Hello, everyone! I missed posting last weekend because I had a terrible cold, so here are my posts for the last two weeks. 🙂

Got two review books this week: The Boy on the Bridge and Lightwood. I snagged up a few Kindle sales too. I’m most excited to finally read Love is a Mix Tape… I’ve been wanting that for ages. And I had to snag up a digital copy of Darkfever because it was (and still is!) only $0.99.

I also keep forgetting to share my growing collection of audibles in part because of sales, an Audible giveaway I won, Kindle matchmaker deals, and my renewed membership. Here’s what I’ve snagged over the last couple of months.

Another week has gone by. I can’t believe it’s already April guys! I got to sit out on my balcony for the first time in what feels like ages so I’m looking forward to more of those days. I didn’t have to work a billion hours this week so I got some things posted on the blog this week. I also went to see Ellen Hopkins at my local Barnes & Noble yesterday and got to chat (more like chatter in indecipherable tones because I was a bundle of nerves) with her and ask her a couple of questions. I’ll try to write up a small post about it later this week. 🙂

Last week I got a super fun package from Big Honcho Media and Disney-Hyperion. That little sneaker keychain is my new favorite thing. 🙂

OH MAN. What a week. I didn’t get a whole lot done on the blog but I’m surprised I got ANYTHING done considering I worked damn near 70 hours last week. I’m really glad March is over, to say the least. I got a few books in the mail including a really awesome box from Big Honcho Media which alas, isn’t included in this post because I didn’t have a chance to get a picture yet. Next week though! This week is all about American Gods. 🙂

New Celeste Ng! So very excited for this one after how much I loved Everything I Never Told You. Attachments is my favorite Rowell and I’ve been thinking about a re-read so I knew I needed to snag it for my personal collection. Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams is a Plath I never heard of but I do love her so and I’ve been dying to get my hands on some more Christie and I got this one from my used bookstore for $2. 🙂

Happy Sunday, everyone. 🙂 This week was excessively tiring for some reason so I didn’t any reviews knocked out. Better luck next week. Except I’m working a ton of overtime the next two weeks so probably not. lol

I’M SO EXCITED FOR WAKING GODS. I’m trying to finish a few of the books that I’m already in the middle of before diving in but I really can’t wait much longer. lol The Mists of Avalon is (was?) only $1.99 on Kindle and I figure if I ever read it, it’d be on Kindle because it’s so enormous. And I had to get You Are Here, the new coloring book from The Bloggess. It’s far more lovely than I expected with some gorgeous drawings to color and some incredibly insightful sayings.

One of my blogging goals of the year was to try to do more discussion posts and I posted my first one this week. People found it be a bit morbid by the sound of it… but welcome to how my mind works when prioritizing things. lol It helped to put things into perspective a bit and I hope you like it. I also posted my rundown for February, a trio of reviews on celebrity memoirs, and a post to celebrate Mardi Gras where I recommend books set in New Orleans. Hoping you all had an excellent week and a great one to come.

Saw this one pop up for $1.99 on Kindle and couldn’t help it. I adored Dare’s Castle’s Ever After series and I’ve been dying to get around to her Spindle Cove series.

I’m really kicking myself because I think this past Friday was the first day I didn’t have a post since the start of the year. Admittedly, it was kind of a shitty week so I should cut myself some slack but still grumpy about it. I ended up watching a lot of Friends because it always ends up putting a smile on my face. My reading has been all over the place too and I was headed towards a slump for a little while there but I think I’m back at it. Here’s to a more productive week. 🙂

Only library books this week! I’ve already read (listened) to The Princess Diarist and it was fantastic. Men Explain Things to Me is a hard but necessary read.

I finished Pride & Prejudice (narrated by Rosamunde Pike) last week and yes, it was the first time I had ever read it. I enjoyed it FAR more than I thought I would so I’m feeling inspired to pick up a few other classics I never got around to. I have Jane Eyre (narrated by Thandie Newton) lined up next but snagged this version of Madding which is narrated by Davina Porter. I didn’t read a lot of classics when I was younger but I’m finding it’s easier for me to enjoy when I’m actually listening to them instead.
