I was extremely proud of myself this week… I dug up an old post type I used to do but hadn’t for several years (Short & Sweet) and I started up a brand new post that I came up with all by myself (Recommended Reading 101). Recommended Reading 101 is a new Saturday post that I’m hoping I can get others to join in on the fun. 🙂

New Books
I picked up a few more review books this week… one involves Vikings and I’m allll about that. You know how Netgalley has that new “Wish For It” button on some titles that show up? Well, Ill Will was gifted to me by the publisher! I wasn’t sure how that worked but it was a neat little surprise! I purchased a couple too… a Christmas romance because I think my Grinch heart grew a little this week and The Assassin’s Blade was on sale and needed to be added to my collection. And my bestie surprised me with the new Lauren Graham for Christmas! Can’t wait to dive into that one… although I hear there are spoilers for the new Gilmore Girls so I need to watch that first. 🙂
For Review
Daughter of a Thousand Years by Amalia Carosella [Purchase]
Ill Will: A Novel by Dan Chaon [Purchase]
Purchased
Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe by Debbie Johnson [Purchase – $0.99!]
The Assassin’s Blade (Throne of Glass 0.1 – 0.5) by Sarah J. Maas [Purchase – $2.99!]
Christmas Giftie
Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between by Lauren Graham [Purchase]
That’s great that you started to use that old feature of yours! It’s got a cute name. 😀 I’m not too familiar with any of your new books, except the Throne of Glass novellas. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
Happy holidays, Bonnie. =)

I bought the Lauren Graham book for my mom for Christmas, and I’m kicking myself for not finding time to read it before I wrapped it. 😉

hahaha Totally reminds me how my friend said she went through my wishlist looking for something that she would want to borrow once I’m done.

Nice!! I had no idea the “wish for it” button did anything — I will have to actually use that in the future, lol.
Yay for DoATY! I hope it’s good! Now I feel the pressure, hahaha.
I loved the Assassin’s Blades novellas. They have some fun characters that I am sure you remember from EoS!
Happy reading!

Lol I didn’t think it did anything either and as soon as I got approved for one I was like, “Shit, how many times have I pushed that button.”
Yes! I loved the AB novellas. I’ve finished collecting and will be gearing up for a massive re-read before the final book most likely!
