Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
The Fireman by Joe Hill
I know zilch about this one. Absolutely nothing. I’m not even certain it’s coming out in 2015 but golly I sure hope so. Joe Hill is a definite favorite of mine.
Day Four: A Novel by Sarah Lotz
I really loved The Three last year but Day Four sounds even more thrilling. A stranded cruise ship, a virus on board and once the boat is finally discovered it’s empty? Oh, yes please.
A God in Ruins: A Novel by Kate Atkinson
Life After Life was an absolutely incredible read but I never anticipated a sequel. Even if it wasn’t expected, I look forward to getting back into that world again.
The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin
I feel like I’ve been waiting for this book to come out for years. Oh wait, I have. The Twelve wasn’t as spectacular as The Passage was but I’m still looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the end.
The Price of Blood (The Emma of Normandy Trilogy #2) by Patricia Bracewell
Shadow on the Crown was an audiobook I picked up on a whim at the library and it ended up being a favorite of mine. My historical fiction reads tends to stay within the same time period so it was nice to branch out to the time of Emma of Normandy, a historical figure that I knew very little about but loved by the end. Can’t wait to read the continuation of her story.
Armada by Ernest Cline
Woohoo! I am a recent Ernie Cline convert. I absolutely cannot wait to geek out with his next book. Fingers crossed, Wil Wheaton will narrate the audiobook again.
The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan
New Rick Riordan series, um HELL YES! This series will center on Norse gods and mythology, which happens to be my personal favorite. Magnus, we’re going to be buddies.
End of Days by Susan Ee
It’s finally the end for Penryn. I’ve been hoarding Angelfall and World After so I can read the entire series in one fell swoop since I’m very impatient.
Winter by Marissa Meyer
I may be a tad behind in The Lunar Chronicles series (I’ve only read book 1), but I am no less excited for this release. This book will supposedly feature Cinder and Snow White…on the moon. Bonus: Fairest also comes out in 2015 to bridge the gap between Cress and Winter. I will definitely be checking that out, too.
The Winds of Winter by George R.R. Martin
Mostly wishful thinking on my part, but the latest installment of A Song of Ice and Fire is rumored to be releasing in the summer of 2015. I have mixed emotions about the release, because undoubtedly, GRRM will kill someone I love. Jerk.
Cronin is on my list as well! Can’t wait to see how it ends! But on the other hand I am also a bit scared that the ending will suck.. Although I really liked the first two books, I wasn’t impressed by how the author finished them..
I hope for the Winds of Winter as well but believe that late 2016 is more likely…

Some good picks up there. I still need to read Cronin’s series and Joe Hill is a good bet. I am also looking forward to Winter.

Ha, I marked The Fireman as to-read on GR the second I heard of it. Doesn’t matter what it’s about, I’m reading it! Is there really a rumor that GRRM’s book will be out in 2015? That would be nice… but I’m not going to hold my breath.:)
