Honestly, the amount of books set in Boarding schools is astounding. There’s just something about a story set in a boarding school that produces the most fascinating of adventures… some good, some bad. These are (some of) my favorites. Clearly I couldn’t decide on just ten. (In no particular order because I couldn’t decide on a ranking either.)

Even with having all these books about boarding schools, there are still a ton I have yet to get to.
What books set in boarding schools would you recommend?
I love boarding school settings, so this is kind of the perfect list for me. Some books on your list I’ve read and loved, like Harry Potter and The Secret History. Both so different, yet so great. But others on your list I really want to read, like The School for Good and Evil! It seems like such a nice read.
Great list! 🙂

Yes, yes, yes – I’m obsessed with boarding school stories (started with Enid Blyton’s Naughtiest Girl series).
I never read that! I read and loved her Faraway Tree series though. 🙂
Ooo! There are a few here I haven’t heard of, though Hex Hall has been on my TBR for a while now, so I might start there!
