Top Ten Tuesday – Books on my TBR the Longest

I’ve had books on my TBR for years. YEARS. But, since I’m all about particulars, it must be said, that I’m going off of Goodreads stats alone and these are all from 2011 since that’s when I first joined Goodreads. If I’m being honest though, these books have been on my “shelf” for far longer, but let’s just stick to the facts, shall we?

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield // added Mar 16, 2011
The Dragon Queen (Tales of Guinevere #1) by Alice Borchardt // added Mar 16, 2011
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton // added Mar 16, 2011
The Bells by Richard Harvell // added Jun 22, 2011
The Brief History of the Dead by Kevin Brockmeier // added Jul 28, 2011

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov // added Jul 28, 2011

What books have gathered dust bunnies on your shelves?

The only one of these I’ve read are Watership Down and The Thirteenth Tale. Master & Margarita and In Cold Blood have been on my TBR for years too. I haven’t heard of the rest, but they sound interesting.

I totally know what you mean about having books on your Goodreads TBR, but also having an even older list of mental TBR books.

Ha! I wrote a post like this a couple of years ago – the book that had been gathering dust had been on my shelf for 14 years. Guess what? It’s still on the shelf! 16 years and counting… (although of the other nine books I listed, I have managed to read three).
