It’s officially Autumn on September 22nd. Autumn is my favorite season because the weather finally starts cooling down and I find the change in colors to be one of the most beautiful things ever. While my TBR list is never-ending, the following are the top 10 I’m most looking forward to reading this season. The first 5 are upcoming releases and the other 5 are ones I’ve selected for my month of October reads… all creepy books. I can’t wait. 🙂
Doctor Sleep (The Shining #2) by Stephen King
World After (Penryn & the End of Days #2) by Susan Ee
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus #4) by Rick Riordan
The Girl Who Soared Over Fairyland and Cut the Moon in Two (Fairyland #3) by Catherynne M. Valente
The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters
The Brief History of the Dead by Kevin Brockmeier
Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn
Dark Matter by Michelle Paver
The Terror: A Novel by Dan Simmons
Yay World After! It's my most anticipated read for fall. I can't wait! I love that fall picture. So beautiful. Autumn is my fave season too. So excited about all the wonderful upcoming books.

Eeeeeeeee World After! I didn't love the cover at first, but it's growing on me. I'm also looking forward to Another Little Piece. I've followed status updates for that one for a while and everyone's always screaming they don't know what's happening. I'm intrigued.
I'm the same with Autumn weather. I prefer it so much more to Summer. I don't do well with heat. I always end up lying on my floor, trying to read, because everything else is just too much for me, lol. I am so not a Summer child.
Anyway, happy reading!

Yes, yes, yes. *snuggles up to Bonnie's reads*
My recent post The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan | Book Review
Oh man, I can't wait for Dr. Sleep! AND to hear what you think of The Little Stranger and Another Little Piece, too. I am going to be stalking your creepy reads when you get to them, since I haven't heard anything about the other horror books you've chosen.
Also–didn't realize you were a Rick Riordan fan!

Some interesting choices, I'm interested to see what you think of The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. Have fun reading 🙂
My recent post Book Review: Dexter’s Final Cut
I just finished the first book in the Heroes of Olympus series. I've read straight through Percy Jackson and right on to this series. I love them, they are so engaging and I didn't know the 4th Heroes book was coming out, so now I'm really excited. Great list!

I read THE BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEAD. I didn't review it, though, because I read it so many years ago, before I reviewed every book I read. But I know it was a good book. You should enjoy it.
