Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Fantasy is such a vast genre with different levels of extremes, but it’s one of my favorite genres no matter its presentation. While I don’t personally belong to a book club, I do have a lot of conversations about books and these would be my recommendations for fellow fans of fantasy of all age groups.

Middle Grade
The Thief of Always
by Clive Barker [Purchase]
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (Fairyland #1) by Catherynne M. Valente [Purchase//Review]
The Cats of Tanglewood Forest by Charles de Lint [Purchase//Review]

YA
A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle #1) by Libba Bray [Purchase]
Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas [Purchase]
The Screaming Staircase (Lockwood & Co. #1) by Jonathan Stroud [Purchase//Review]

Adult
The Wood Wife by Terri Windling [Purchase]
Dreams and Shadows (Dreams & Shadows #1) by C. Robert Cargill [Purchase//Review]
Soulless (Parasol Protectorate #1) by Gail Carriger [Purchase]

And last one to make this an even ten… the perfect read for everyone. 🙂 (This comes as no surprise, I’m sure.)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Harry Potter #1) by J.K. Rowling [Purchase]
