Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
I’ve done this same Top Ten Tuesday topic before (thus the Pt. 2) but I enjoyed it so much I just had to do it again. I could never run out of fabulous book quotes.

Top Ten of my Favorite Book Quotes Pt. 2

“What if we had a chance to do it again and again, until we finally did get it right? Wouldn’t that be wonderful?”
― Kate Atkinson, Life After Life

“I try to fend off the oceanic sadness, but I can’t. It’s such a colossal effort not to be haunted by what’s lost, but to be enchanted by what was.”
― Jandy Nelson, The Sky Is Everywhere

“How much sweeter life would be if it all happened in reverse, if, after decades of disappointments, you finally arrived at an age when you had conceded nothing, when everything was possible.”
― Karen Thompson Walker, The Age of Miracles

“Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant.”
― Hunter S. Thompson, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

“Sometimes you make choices in life and sometimes choices make you.”
― Gayle Forman, If I Stay

“If you dare nothing, then when the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book

“The mistake is thinking that there can be an antidote to the uncertainty.”
― David Levithan, The Lover’s Dictionary

“Desires, memories, fears, passions form labyrinths in which we lose and find and then lose ourselves again.”

― Bernhard Schlink, The Reader

“We are all subject to the fates. But we must act as if we are not, or die of despair.”
― Philip Pullman, The Golden Compass

“I like that about art, that what you see is sometimes more about who you are than what’s on the wall.”
― Cath Crowley, Graffiti Moon
