What do I review:
I typically review the following genres: fantasy, urban fantasy, historical fiction, dystopian/post-apocalyptic, horror, and mystery. I read Adult Fiction, YA Fiction, and select Middle-Grade Fiction as well. I accept digital (epub, mobi), physical copies, and audiobooks (I prefer receiving audiobooks via Audible format).
I don’t typically accept reviews for the following (although there are always exceptions to the rule): Non-Fiction, Memoirs, Christian Fiction, Cookbooks, Self-Help. I also don’t read books out of order so if your review request is for an established series that I haven’t read, I won’t be accepting.
What you can expect:
- My reviews are honest, subjective, and in accordance with FTC guidelines. I don’t withhold my opinion when it comes to my reviews which does include positive and negative reviews. Even though I am always truthful this does not mean that if I dislike something about a book I will openly bash it; I do believe there is a positive way of writing negative reviews.
- All reviews that I write are posted with a 1-5 star rating on Goodreads, on this blog, re-tweeted through my Twitter and Facebook accounts, and occasionally posted to Amazon.
- If you need a review completed by a certain date please let me know that when contacting me and I will try my best to make your book review a priority. If I’m not able to meet deadline I will let you know in advance.
- Please keep in mind though, considering I receive a large amount of review requests the fact that I accepted your request does not necessarily guarantee a review.
Book Release Calendar
I try to accumulate the majority of books releasing on a week by week basis and update it frequently. If you don’t see your book on there and you’d like to, I’d be happy to consider including it.

I would love the opportunity to have you review my recently released mystery, “Sydney on Fire.”
Sydney Chang is African American and Chinese. She’s an esteemed doctor who rollerblades through the streets of New York City, in between saving people’s lives, both in and out of the hospital. Sydney likes everyone to play nicely.
But they don’t.
Sydney can patch you up- but she can break you, too, and she will if she has to. She’s a fierce, intelligent and powerful woman who confronts several topical issues in this novel. It’s a rollercoaster ride.
This character was created to empower women (and some men, lol), young and old. If you’re interested in doing a book review I’d be pleased to send the book right out.
