Trapped (Iron Druid Chronicles #5)
by Kevin Hearne
Expected publication: November 27th 2012 by Del Rey

After twelve years of secret training, Atticus O’Sullivan is finally ready to bind his apprentice, Granuaile, to the earth and double the number of Druids in the world. But on the eve of the ritual, the world that thought he was dead abruptly discovers that he’s still alive, and they would much rather he return to the grave.

Having no other choice, Atticus, his trusted Irish wolfhound, Oberon, and Granuaile travel to the base of Mount Olympus, where the Roman god Bacchus is anxious to take his sworn revenge—but he’ll have to get in line behind an ancient vampire, a band of dark elves, and an old god of mischief, who all seem to have KILL THE DRUID at the top of their to-do lists.

It incorporates romance but it's not too overdone in my opinion. Very subtle. Here's hoping it stays that way. 🙂

Yeah, keep the "look" subtly. Right between the birm of urban fantasy and paranormal romance (you may get added readers than from a different fanbase).

But I wonder if they will tint it a certain color like they did the past covers for the final version?
I mean: Hounded (red), Hexed (yellow), Hammered (blue), Tricked (orange), Trapped (maybe it will be green, violet, or a silver tint).

Yeah, I'm sure that's the goal, to reach out and gain more readers from different genres.
I hadn't even truly noticed the color tints till you said that. I only read one of them in actual book form, the others were on ebooks so I missed that. It'll be interesting to see though. 🙂
