I had an amazing week full of lovely books. And it’s clear I have no self control. None. I don’t know why I bother trying.

For Review

A World Without Princes (The School for Good and Evil #2) by Soman Chainani {Purchase}
I wasn’t a huge fan of book one but it did have appeal and I am interested in seeing where the story goes.
Plus One by Elizabeth Fama {Purchase}
I was a victim of a pretty cover. Sure hope the book itself is good!
Heaven’s Queen (Paradox #3) by Rachel Bach {Purchase}
I’m trying so hard to stay on schedule but OH MY GOSH I NEED TO READ THIS NOOOOWWWWW.
The Butcher by Jennifer Hillier {Purchase}
I really enjoyed this authors debut novel, Creep, and have been in a mystery/thriller mood as of late so very excited to have this on hand.

I recently got accepted to be a Harper Voyager and I loooooved the intro package they sent me!

Dead Set by Richard Kadrey {Purchase}
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this one for a long time. And my copy is signed!
Dreams and Shadows by C. Robert Cargill {PurchaseMy Review}
I’ve actually already read this one but it was pretty fantastic. Very different mix of horror and urban fantasy that I highly recommend.
The Taken (Celestial Blues #1) by Vicki Pettersson {Purchase}
This series has been on my TBR FOREVER. Very eager to get started on this one.
The Wasteland Saga by Nick Cole {Purchase}
I am crazy excited for this one. Had never heard of this one till its arrival but post-apocalyptic fiction is a definite favorite.
The Fresco by Sheri S. Tepper {Purchase}
This was a title from the archives that I hadn’t heard of before but I’ve been trying to broaden my reading and sci-fi is one genre I don’t read much of so will definitely be reading this! (Psst. It’s only a $0.99 Kindle book for anyone interested!)

My cat totally loved the package too. Well, at least once the package was empty.

Library Checkouts

Gah. I still have library books to read (Evertrue by Brodi Ashton and Troll’s Eye View: A Book of Villainous Tales by Ellen Datlow) but clearly I have no self control so I picked up another five. But it’s only one graphic novel and four Georgia books so they should be relatively quick.

Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson #4) by Louise Rennison {Purchase}
Away Laughing on a Fast Camel (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson #5) by Louise Rennison {Purchase}
Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson #6) by Louise Rennison {Purchase}
Startled by His Furry Shorts (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson #7) by Louise Rennison {Purchase}
Fables, Vol. 19: Snow White (Fables #19) by Bill Willingham {Purchase}

I couldn’t resist this single purchased because its a book I’ve had my eye on for a while and it was only $0.99! Same price last I checked so get on it!

The Archived (The Archived #1) by Victoria Schwab {Purchase}

PHEW. And that’s it. Hopefully next week goes easier on me and I get more reading done than I have been lately. Please share your post links and I’ll be sure to stop by! Hope you all have a fabulous week!

  1. I just bought The Archived myself! Been eager to read that one.
    And eep the sequel to The School of Good and Evil! I was surprised – I liked it more than I thought I would. I’ll be interested to see what you think of the second book.
    And uhm didn’t Fortune’s Pawn just come out? And the third book is already written? Craziness! Maybe I should wait to start it for a tiny bit longer and then binge read the series haha.
    Happy reading this week, Bonnie!
