This was definitely the week of awesome Kindle freebie books. I’ll admit, I’m quite the collector of freebies but I don’t often get around to reading them. Most of the time these are Indie’s and I’m very choosy when it comes to those, although there are some choice Freebies that are well worth your time (Darkhouse is one of my favorites). It’s just about taking the time to find them. Actually, Heidi wrote up a great post about this that I totally agree with. What’s your take on Kindle freebies? Do you read a lot of them or think they’re subpar? But I downloaded a ton of them this week and they were mostly fairly well-known authors so maybe I’ll actually get around to these sooner rather than later! I also received two review packages plus my two pending Netgalley approvals came in together. It was a good week!

I had to go look up that Stephen King book on Goodreads, because I was like, “What??? I’ve never heard of that one!” Oh, a short story:-)
I have a copy of Broken Monsters I hope to read very soon. And no, I usually stay away from Kindle freebies. It’s a mental thing with me: free means bad. (I know that’s not always true, but that’s what my brain says!)

I got The Way of Kings earlier this weekend – so crazy to find it for free, but so awesome! Now I just need to start reading some Sanderson. I snagged a copy of Hale Maree just now because I have heard good things about this one.
Looks like you’ve had a great week for books, Bonnie! I hope you enjoy them!

I’ve seen Broken Monsters on Netgalley, but didn’t read what it was about till now. Yay for Blue Lily, Lily Blue! (Do you have a hard time typing the title too? I’m always messing up some part of it.) I got Elevated too! I always manage to forget to include freebies on my STS posts for some reason. I hope you love all of these Bonnie!
