Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
I live in Nevada and therefore am not close to the beach. I am close to Tahoe though and my family and I often travel there for a day trip to spend on the beach. I’ve been reading a ton of horror novels this year so I’m probably overdue for some light and fluffy reads. The following books are a mix of contemporary, chick-lit, adult and YA that I own (and really need to finally read if the dust on them is any indication) that would be great for a day at the beach.
Sloppy Firsts (Jessica Darling #1) by Megan McCafferty {Purchase}
Feeling Sorry for Celia (Ashbury/Brookfield #1) by Jaclyn Moriarty {Purchase}
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen {Purchase}
Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits #1) by Katie McGarry {Purchase}
Something Real by Heather Demetrios {Purchase}
Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter {Purchase}
Peacock Emporium by Jojo Moyes{Purchase}
The French Gardener by Santa Montefiore {Purchase}
The Last Blind Date by Linda Yellin {Purchase}
Who’s Afraid of Mr Wolfe? by Hazel Osmond {Purchase}
Has anyone read these already and think I should bump it up the pile? Let me know!
Leave me a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post and I’ll be sure to stop by!
The only book on your list that I’ve heard about is Pushing the Limits which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope you get a chance to read all the books on your list!

I was planning to read Beautiful Ruins, but never got around to it — I really should dust it off sometime soon-ish 🙂

Just Listen is my favorite Sarah Dessen book! It was so fun to read. Something Real sounds pretty good; I love the cover. I love your blog design!

Read Sloppy Firsts first! Such a perfect summer read. And I also highly recommend Something Real, though it’s a bit more heavy.
I haven’t heard of any of those adult books you list, but I’ll have to keep them in mind. I love how your blog always introduces me to new adult fiction.
I hope you’re able to get to many of these books this summer!
