I think when most consider “romances” in terms of genre, anything with someone looking Fabio-esque comes to mind. I love a good bodice ripper, although you might not know that considering I never actually review them. I feel like there are only so many ways you can describe something as “steamy” but maybe that’s why I’m not a romance author. Or maybe I just need a better thesaurus. When I think of romances though, I think of a multitude of genres, because for the most part, the majority of books contain a romance in some way shape or form.
These ten are my favorite non-romances but I threw a few bodice rippers in there for good measure too.

“One Plus One” was such a fun read! I like every Jojo Moyes book I’ve read so far. I remember enjoying “Agnes and the Hitman,” too, when I read it several years ago.
I think One Plus One would make a fantastic movie.. if they decided to make another Jojo Moyes book into a movie. 🙂 Yes, I read Agnes ages ago.. I think I’m due for a re-read.

Oh, agreed! I’m pretty sure I included “One Plus One” on a previous TTT post about books we’d like to see made into movies. With the right cast it would be an awesome romantic comedy!

I loved Attachments so much and I’m a huge fan of the Fever series (although Iced was the last one I read). Great choices!

I ended up reading Burned (which was better than Iced) but I haven’t read Feverborn after all the controversy surrounding the audiobook narrator. Part of me still wants to read it anyways … maybe someday. 🙂

Quite an eclectic range of books there. I haven’t gotten around to reading the new Maas book, and I missed all the reviews. I am glad to see that it was winner for you. I will have to give it a go.
Ohhh yes, you must. Especially if you liked the first one. Far better than the first. 🙂

ACOMAF destroyed me. I was so into the romance that I almost hated myself for it, aha.
