I have difficulty sometimes when books are overly hyped. People read them and love them, then shout from the rooftops about how wonderful they are. This automatically makes me nervous because I fully expect the book to have the opposite effect because I’m contrary like that. These ten 2019 releases are ones I’m nervous about diving in, but hope they end up being worth all that hype.

I’m curious about Taylor’s new book but nervous because Seven Husbands of Evelyn was a freaking masterpiece. Not sure how she can live up to that one again.
I’m busting to read Daisy Jones!

I’m a little nervous about With the Fire on High for the same reason, but I think I’ll still read it.

I am the same way about hyped books. In fact, I usually try to wait until the hype dies down. I see a few here that I really want to read, and have an arc of the Daisy Jones one so I will be picking it up sooner rather than later.
Hype makes me nervous as well! The Beautiful sounds intriguing though. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I’m not 100% sure about The Beautiful either. I love the cover of The Starless Sea, but I don’t know much about it. I hope you love the books you do pick up.

Same gurl, same. Of these, I think I’m going to try Gailey, Morgenstern and Silver. I’m so on the fence about the new TJR that I will probably we waiting a good long while before I pick it up.

I’m pretty interested in “With The Fire on High” though I’m not usually a contemporary person, still wanna read it! The cover is so gorgeous!

Hyped books are also a cause for fear to me too! I feel like there’s a pressure to like the book, and I don’t like being the odd duck. So the safest thing to do is, if there is a hyped book you’re not sure about…. avoid it. (This is my plan and I am doing A ok! XD )
I remember reading the synopsis for The Beautiful a while ago and I remember being pretty excited about it! Let’s hope it, and all these other books are worth the hype!
Happy Reading! <3
