Top Ten Tuesday – Kindle Unlimited Horror

Posted October 1, 2018 by Bonnie in Top Ten Tuesday / 7 Comments

I recently got a 3 month Kindle Unlimited subscription so I’ve been trying to read a few a month at least to take full advantage of my membership. I read two recently that I picked up at random that turned out to be extremely excellent:

five-stars Kind Nepenthe by Matthew V. Brockmeyer [Purchase]
four-stars Witching Hour Theatre by Jonathan Janz [Purchase]

Sometimes it can be really hard for me to chance it on most indies, but I dug through a bunch of them one day (it was a lesson in not judging books by their cover, let me tell you what) and I came up with ten potentially good sounding ones that I’d love to try for Ominous October. I already have another list of hopefuls for the month in addition to a whole slew of horror movies I’d like to watch, but who knows what can be accomplished. We’ve got a whole 31 days. 🙂

Has anyone read these? Or have any others to recommend instead?

  1. I love going through the Kindle Unlimited titles trying to find a good read too! I haven’t read any of the ones you’ve picked but they sound creepy!

  2. I’ve not read any of these but I’ve heard good things about The Switch House. I did read one of the other tales in the Dark Collection series they just put out – Miao Dao. It was pretty good and I’d like to squeeze in all 7 this month. Hope Hannah-Beast is good. It may be my next one of the group.

  3. I love Kindle Unlimited, even though it can be hard sometimes to find quality novels. That said, I usually manage to make it worth the price in cookbooks alone. 🙂 I’ve gotten away from reading horror, but I’m going to check out some of these on your list now!

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
